A Meetup.com group event. Basics Bootcamp is perfect for those new to the craft or as a refresher for those who have been practicing it for years. We'll go over everything from what magic is, to how to do your own ritual and EVERYTHING in between. Handouts and hands on exercises will be included. There will be a charge of $5 so we can support Alchemy Arts for allowing us to use their space.

Join local medium, Rachel Maes, in learning the different types of mediums, spirits, and techniques used to access the spirit world. This beginner's course will explore and experiment, while teaching safety in medium working and the misconceptions Hollywood has placed with the general public. If you have an interest in spirits, the Ouija board, automatic writing, psychics, necromancy, debunking the Warrens (famous for Amityville Horror), or just having fun, feel free to take a class.

Every third Friday of the month. Fee: $5.00.

Hand of Reiki Academy presents: Reiki Level 1- a course taught in two parts. Day 1: January 14, 2012, 12 - 5 PM. Day 2: February 4, 2012, 12 - 5 PM.

Saturday, December 17, 2011, 7:00 PM. The Witch City Chicago organizers would like to invite you to a Yule Ritual. Like Samhain this will be a potluck event, so please bring something to share. Also, admittance is a can of human and/or cat food. All human food will go to the Chicago Food Depository and kitty food will go to the Tree House, a no kill cat shelter. Let's do what we can to pass along the blessings in our own lives!
